Beautiful card Steve, you must be loving your CGX Workbench.

Today I received a slight top-up for my stock of capacitors. This time I've gone for the "FR" range of Panasonic caps, these are the through-hole barrels in black.

Not pretty and gold like the FM series, but are a new series that's meant to last even longer! :)

These are going into my A600 tonight so that it's fully restored and maintained, ready for ACA630-30 action :D

Oh - these (and the small surface-mounters) are also in preparation for restoring Tajmaster's A4000 next year!

You have my envy there, I really don't think I can stretch to an ACA630 now this year, so maybe in the new year if they have any and if I can find some spare $$$

Looking forward to the Pr0n when you get it up and running

@gazcbm

WOW :)

I need a house to put inside a seat like that  (is a joke, sorry)

Nice stuff

those little buggers! put 2 of these on a SoundBlaster 1.5 and enjoy GameBlaster compatibillity :D

Got this in the post this morning its a COX 630B genlock board for the BBC Master (also seen one fitted to a Model B). It replaces the inbuilt 16mhz clock with one synced to an external video source. End result is it does video overlays as anything black is transparent.

Also included is another set of wires with a 10 pin video camera type socket on the end. Almost certainly something the BBC itself uses, hence non standard and of little use to me.

I haven't fitted it yet, I'm moving house at the moment, so I'll install it once I get the BBC collection here.

This is no home electronics kit. VideoROM 3.04, mounting rails, the camera connector in the foreground.

SDC10410.jpg

Yum wires to tack solder to random places all over the motherboard.

Yes I have plans for this board, its not going to waste.

After years of yearning I finally decided to get myself one of these:

YoktLPQ5A.jpg

Received it today, with 7 games AND! original box and styrofoam!

/me is a very happy chappy! :woot:

(picture is taken by the seller, I wouldn't dare getting that kind of fabric anywhere in my house :D)

@thread:
Well I am up for, get ready ...

A Blizzard 2060!
I'm getting it this saturday, I was almost about to order an ACA 1230, but then I read something on our Dutch Amiga board, did a few pm's and got myself the best 060 card for the A2000 :D

Ok, some do say the Tekmagic is better, but I'm already happy to be recieving this and putting it the A2500 that I got from the guy above this post ;)

It's kind of neat and weird to see the big "CBS" logo.
Here in North America, "CBS" is a TV station from the States and the boxes all said "Coleco" as that was the actual name of the company.
Just a aside: if you were a child of the 60's and '70, it was very hard not to have Coleco toys, they made everything from kids pools, to lawn darts. The Colecovision was their "swansong", after the video game crash, they put all of their money into the "Adam" Computer and when that bombed (very bad design- the power supply was in the printer, if the printer was dead, so was the computer) they put everything into Cabbage patch kids. The Cabbage Patch Kids really did kill the company.

The Cabbage Patch Kids were awesome... Uh. My bad, I was thinking of The Garbage Pail Kids.

Dear All,

At the C= user meeting i did sell some bits&bobs ;)
The money i recieved suddenly struggled out of my wallet....
So now i have a breadbin ;)

Grtz, PymerOne.

Today, I got a neat curio from one of the Amiga Club members. A Commodore Binder. It is made of a blue suede like material and the date card on the inside flap says 1983- 84. Possibly this was included in a "Back to School" package.
Inside it has 2 un used notebooks or "scribblers" as we call them here in Canada. also a large vinyl zipper pouch for pencils and what not. It has a bit of what looks like water damage, but nothing serious.
Because of the date, I am guessing that this was VIC 20 material, but the guy giving it to me could not remember a darn thing about it only that he had never used it and it was always kicking around. What do you think? possibly 10 grand on flea by for buy it now? Seriously, it is another cool CBM collectible I will probably end up using for Amiga documentation.

If you are into 64 stuff, let me know. I have some standing around I have no use for, they're yours if you want. I owe you one ;)

Most certainly is probably from an older model, never knew a Plus model to have a red power LED which is part of the keyboard system.

Still, I prefer the red and green LED's personally. :p

Amiga 500Plus, however i am not sure if the keyboard is from this model, possibly from an earlier version of Amiga 500.

The keyboard is indeed from a rev 3 (earliest) A500. You can not only tell by the RED power led, also by the C= key instead of the Left Amiga key.
