Got another A1200 (has 8 in total now). This one was sold as not working, since the seller didn't have a power supply to test is with - so I got it REALLY cheap.

Well.... it works :-)

I see the problem, it got ø and æ in the wrong place. :lol:

got my falcon 360 in the post a few days ago.
and finaly set up my wheel to play forza again (hooray)

just cut up the case to install an extra fan "extraction" Need to mount it and pretty up the case, but i will take a pic when done.

Just picked up my very second bigbox amiga ever :lol:

A humble A4000D/030
Came with a keyboard, 5 big boxes of floppys and a Hydra AmigaNet v1.1.
Noticed that the badge protecting plastic still is on there :roll:

Looks like I got there just in time....

Pints and parts :thumbsup:

hp4100!! 10 years old and still going strong!

The good thing is, the toner carts are now cheaper than an inkjet... nice quality too. She's only done 30k copies which is sod all for these.

They are great printers the older HP lasers. I recall when a HP laserjet III we had in work hit it's 1,000,000 page count. :o Yup, that is correct. I printed out a status page for proof but misplaced it a while ago.

Think it hit about 1.2m before it was finally replaced with a colour one. I have a 4050 still going strong myself.

A haul from the other bay!

Will be keeping the C16, VIC-20 and one of the breadbins. Most of the rest will be cleaned up and resold.

Got some cash for Christmas/Birthday so i ordered myself these which arrived today. I will be honest and say that although i can use a basic soldering iron this is probably way beyond my current level but i live in hope that after some practice i will be able to use these new toys :) Got myself plenty of dead PC motherboards to practice on.

@sardine

you really need to get that apollo 1260 looked at,it looks like it got some serius battery damage around the 74f74.

Wow scraps, you're all set for some serious soldering with that setup :thumbsup:

@Sardine

As Roy says, that leakage is very serious. The problem you might have is after removing all the damage there might not be much left of the pads that chip is soldered to.

Fingers crossed it isn't as bad as it looks.

its rediculous how much easier things are with good quality tools.
id also fork out on a good selection of diferent size and pitched tips.

its so nice to have a tiny tip when you need it and be able to switch to a great big clod hopper the size of your thumb when you need that lol.

the hot air station may see more use than you expected. i know mine did :thumbsup:

@sardine

having had another closer look at the pics,if i was you i would not power that machine up with the apollo in there.

going by the pics the leakage goes all the way to the mach 131,thats very bad mate.

im sorry i posted twice,its just i had to have another look:)

ye i know..

guy had it in his loft for 10 yrs...

ive not tried to power the tower..

i tried the 1260 once in my 1200, black screen,not done anything with it yet , ive bought lemon juice, ipa etc but i dont think i want to tackle it or try remove mach 131 as green on those pins also.

personal life atm throwing me curves my intention depending on what happens is to send it off to someone here for repair. i also want to send my 1240 which is working 100% but the battery on that also showing signs but no green yet.

Sneeker just dropped off two non-working C64 breadbins for free!

Hopefully I can make at least one of them working again!
