@commodorejohn: A legendary synth nevertheless! You'd be quite busy testing various editor-librarians for it too. I think there was one Amiga-based also.
Yeah, it's a classic for a reason :) I've got a fairly decent one for PC, but I'll take a look at the Amiga options while I'm at it...

Would love a DX-7, they're not overly expensive either. Roland D-50 is another classic on the shopping list... again not too pricey and great synth :)
Indeed :) I've got a D-50 lined up from the guy I bought my Oberheim and JX-10 from, but it's gonna have to wait until I get my car replaced...

I'm just wondering how big johns house is :)
 Not big enough! Things are getting a little crowded, and I don't even have everything set up at the moment! Luckily at the end of the month I'm moving from my one-bedroom apartment into the house that my brother and sister-in-law will be vacating...

I wanted to preorder that console, but can't really justify it as I already have a WiiU :'(

I have preordered the game with the gannondorf statue though
Yeah, I'm really happy I waited to pick one up. Between the price cut and the fact that I love Zelda games and a Zelda themed console, I decided it was the right time. Still, I would love to get the disc version of the game.

I'm currently playing through Skyward Sword for the first time! It's really fun going through a Zelda world that I haven't seen yet. For the most part, the motion controls work well, but I would still rather just press a button. I've also pre-ordered the new 3DS Zelda.

Heather

*EDIT* I also love that you can skydive in Skyward Sword! I even had to do a double take the first time I saw a skydiving formation go flying past me. :D

Lol, I've been playing through it too. I'm on the final dungeon now :-P
I agree though, the controls work great, but I still think they'd play better on a regular controller.

Want to preorder the 3ds one, just waiting to see if there are any preorder bonuses anywhere first though :-)

On Thursday, I picked up a very nice c64c night moves pack.
Awesome condition and virtually complete (missing Shadow warriors tape and a second cheeteah joystick.).

Omg omg omg, I have the most awesome wife ever!

She just bagged me 2x good condition a500's, a heap of software, 2x external fdd's, several joysticks and something I've been after for ages..... A 1084s-p for what we in Aus normally pay for just the 1084s-p by itself! :)

The gameboy Programmer boards (that no one ordered from here) have finally arrived from China! I put many many hours into these and am more than satisfied with iTead studios.

I also got some calipers:

These boards connect to a PC via USB and give the user the options to backup save files from official cartridges (and ROMs). But more importantly, they allow for the programming of home-made cartridges with homebrew software for gameboy!

These boards can be used as dev boards for programmers wanting to test their software on actual hardware.
