This must be my lucky day. :) I got myself a Memotech MTX500. I've been looking for one for a reasonable price about as long as I've been a member of AmiBay. Never seen one live before this. Best thing about this is that I found it locally.

It's unfortunately missing the PSU and apparently it's going to be a bit of a pickle to get it sorted out.

Found a CPC464 with a colour monitor. I have been searching for a monitor since my older unit misses it. This was also a local pick up so no expensive shipping.
The picture is from the seller add. The machine and the monitor were in a very good shape.

Nice! I only have the Gamma Ray Tube for my CPC6128. I've bought a scart cable that's connected to my Salora and I'm powering it with a +3 PSU.

The MTX500 had a simple AC Transformer with 22V, 18V and 9V outputs, should be easy to make one yourself.

I picked up a blue colored Power Mac G4 450 MHz (Gigabit) at a local thrift store for $xxxx, which is a good deal considering it retailed for about $2,499 when it was new back around the year 2000. I would have rather have found an A4000, but I guess this will do for now

I included the specs below:
http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g4/specs/powermac_g4_450_dp.html

It had the default 256 MB of RAM, but I added a couple of 512 MB sticks bringing the total to 1.256 GB of RAM.

Some of the keys on the keyboard do not respond, but it will require a thorough cleaning. I am glad a regular USB keyboard functions normally.

It also looks like someone installed a second dual header IDE controller, but no extra drives were attached.

Aside from iPods, this is my first 'official' Mac computer.

I'll post some pics once I get it cleaned up. The system was rather filthy on the outside, but the inside was very clean.

NOS Verbatim :) I know it's nothing compared to what you usually post over here... but still pretty happy with the very low price I paid them.

C64 reloaded, mounted in a transparent c64c case.. Burnt a custom rom with jiffydos and danish/norwegian character rom in addition to the originals. Now trying to figure out how to fit dual sid board in there.. The zif sockets are too tall.

My C64 Freeze Machine from an theotherbay seller arrived today :-(

Apparently the proper item has gone to Latvia so looks like i'll never get it - just trying to work out how I connect this to the c64 :-(

The old SE phones probably still had a serial connection, you can use it as a modem :)

@plazma

Well, I had to join the 21st century eventually :D

Apple MacBook Pro 13" Retina i5 16GB 512GB (PC Worl are doing a 10% refund deal!), 27inch AOC monitor and Apple Magic Mouse + Keyboard. As a bonus, the monitor has integrated speakers and the PS4 looks rather splendid on it :-)

Well, last week I walked into a charity shop I check in town most weekends, and they had 26 Megadrive games sitting there! So I snapped those up for my collection. Then today, I had a day off to take the car to the garage, just stopped at a charity shop on the way back at random, and they had Baton Kaitos for the GameCube in with all there crappy PC games! I was amazed, couldnt belive it. Nearly the rarest game I've ever found in a charity shop, apart from Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes for the PSP last year! I completely appreciate anything that I find so I don't feel guilty!

reminds me of the time i went to one of the local thrift stores and found ChronoTrigger for SNES and a near-new copy of Return of the Witch Lord expansion (cards un-cut, figs still on their plastic frame) for HeroQuest for....well...as i can't say the price...it was actually less for both than the price I had paid to take the train/bus there and back...
