PPC accelerator bounty?

Well I don't like PCs or intel, it is a poor quality CISC architecture. You all have good points but I don't like the idea of FPGA, its too... artificial, its all emulation. I use a G4 Powermac with MOS but it just isn't the same as a real miggy. PPC is not dead, the Cell could easily be a computer CPu and so could the PA-6T, both are more powerful than most run of the mill intels (don't believe me? Intel isn't as efficient in cycles as PPC.) I might just buy an X1000 as soon as they come out (just like duke nukem forever haha.)

Actually, I don't really understand why A-EON didn't just plump for the Cell.... surely it would have been cheaper? Or maybe the PA-6T's were going cheap as they were out of production? It could have also come down to mass orders, if the PA-6T was already surplus then thats an easy buy over the need to order a new batch of Cell processors, which i'd imagine would be MUCH more than "hundreds" before manufacture would even start. Anyway, yeah I like PPC, but not how expensive PPC Amiga's are

Well the MorphOS w/ powermac approach is both cheap and satisfying. I do wish I had more time, damned college is soo boring and busy.
