Ooh, go on then. I'll have one, preferably a 604, but not too bothered what speed. After all, it's only for the CPU collection box.

Do BGA ones need re-balling? I would take one quad flat packed if you have 200MHz.

Yes, all of them need re-balling.

I can do this, but as I must do this semi-manually the cost of re-balling will be high. But still: no warranty whatsoever.

Hi,

are these CPUs still available? My CSPPC 604 just broke down and I'm thinking of sending it to Amiga repair center and I was thinking of including the CPU to save some cost. You say all parts are working so I assume a CPU replacement will be possible.

Thanks,
/Stefan

Why not send the board to Stachu100 himself? He is cheaper than Jean Jacques and can even upgrade your card to 300MHz PPC!

Hi Stefan,

Yes, CPU's are still available.
BUT:
I'm selling them not as 100% working, but as working when last time used (before un-soldering). I simply cannot give you my word that they 100% working once re-balled and soldered back on turbo board. They are too many things that could went wrong (bad re-balling process, bad soldering parameters, ...). Sorry. That is why I'm selling them as "for display and nostalgia only".

What I can tell you that some time ago I've ordered few 604e@233MHz in factory packaging as NOS parts. See photo:

And I think that I still have one pcs left somewhere in "forgotten drawer".
But:
1) prices will be higher
2) from my experience the CPU's are the last thing that could be damaged on CSPPC. Typically PPC CPU is ok, but other IC's on CSPPC are faulty.

So be careful.

If you are still interested with this NOS 604e@233MHz please PM me.
