Hello, fellow Amibayers,

while I was waiting for new parts for the BFG9060 to arrive, I built some Prelude ZII Replicas (Rev. 1.1) and some MPEG-it! add-on modules.

The Prelude is a classic Zorro II sound card recently recreated by alf24de and TomSonic over on a1k.org. In-depth information is available here: http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/prelude
Note that the replica version has the DSUB input/output connector replaced by 3.5 mm jack plugs.

MPEG-it! is an add-on module to the Prelude for MP3 playback up to 384 kbps @48kHz with near-zero CPU consumption. More information here: http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/mpegit
The replica of MPEG-it! works on the original Prelude as well as on the replica.

To make the most out of the card and the MPEG-it!, I recommend the following software:

• AHI 4.18 https://aminet.net/driver/audio/ahiusr_4.18.lha
• Prelude.library 5.6 https://aminet.net/driver/audio/PreludeLib.lha
• mhimpegit 1.1 https://aminet.net/driver/audio/mhimpegit.lha
• Prelude Mixer 2.3 http://www.toms-home.de/Software/Prelude/PreludeMixer23.lha (Mixer must be started once after booting/rebooting the Amiga to enable the AUX-1 input that the MPEG-it! uses)
• AmigaAmp 3.31 (3.32 has a bug in MHI handling that is currently being fixed) http://www.amigaamp.de/Binaries/AmigaAMP331-68k.lha
