Problem whit Upgrade Apollo 1240 for 1260

Hello everyone, my name is Cleilton. I believe this is my first post.
I'll get right to the point. I have a problem with the upgrade.
I upgraded my Apollo 1240 to 1260.
But my accelerator is not recognizing the memory.
I've checked the jumpers, tested the memory but still do not recognize it.
Anyone have any idea what that might be?

Can be many things. Was there any pads/tracks damaged while swapping CPU (if you desoldered it)?

its been a while,but here goes
the memory controller is normally in a socket,you could try reseating it,its the mac210 i think
the other option is maybe the simm socket is broken or similar,ive had cases where half the simm would show in the system things like that
and the max you can put in one socket 32mb

also make sure the memory disable jumper isnt off,check this first

I have an extra working 32mb module for it - I just sold an Apollo 1240 the other day.

Let me know if you're interested, we can probably work something out.

(disclaimer: I dont know if your mach is blown or anything, but I can confirm it was working in the one I sold).
