Hi! I bought a Cyberstorm MKII 060 and it arrived today. Inserted into my A4000D/040. I get a black screen, nothing more happens. Tried my A3640 again and it booted right away. I have also removed all the memory from the Cyberstorm but that didn't help either. Anyone knows what's wrong?

Cheers iRonNuke

There's a couple of jumpers to control clock supply to the CPU card, set to INT or EXT.
Don't remember which one is for the CS MK II but maybe it needs them set the other way round.

Have you already tried to switch the mainboard Timing jumpers (int/ext)?

Edit: Ok, Bltcon0 was faster :)

No, thanks. That did the trick. They where set to EXT, switched them to INT and the computer booted. :)

Hey cugar124, I just got one of these as well, and previously I've had a CSPPC. Just curious why this one is the best in your opinion?

Mine is currently with acill hopefully getting the 100mhz clock update :P

Hi Buddy I suppose because when I had the PPC version I found it hot and temperamental as well it was mounted in a micronic tower and put a lot of strain on a dodgy cpu socket back in 2002 and I have found the mk2 to be very cool at stock speeds and lighting quick at upgraded speeds mine will do 72mhz stable so not complaining there LOL

I do have mine clocked down at the moment to 60mhz mainly because I have the Indi mk 2 the cybervision 64 3d and my vortex and the machine does get very very warm one thing I would say is if you can get a new psu chucky did mine keeps the heat down there and a new fan helps push extra air in.
