PS Vita game recommendations?

I have a nice 64gb caard for my vita

Games I played and completed on this that I'd recommend:

Gravity Rush - fun free-roaming action game.
Metal Gear HD Collection.
Killzone Mercenary - very immersive and at times I forget this is being played on a handheld. very impressive.
DOA 5 + - Plays brilliantly and just so happens to be my favourite fighting game series anyway.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2 - love ninja gaiden and fits small doses of relentless killing on a handheld very nicely.
Wipeout 2048 - best wipeout yet and with the hd & fury pack from the ps3, this game is huge.
Ridge Racer - if you like ridgeracer :P

BlazBlue - fun 2d fighting game
Soul Sacrifice - monster hunter with good/evil twist.
Uncharted - not far off uncharted 1 on ps3.
Persona 4 - fun RPG.
Virtua tennis - really cheap game from amazon etc. looks better than its ps3 counterpart.
Tearaway - platforming done different.

I have other games, but off the top of my head, those are the ones I return to play time and time again. :)

Would love a 64gig card. They do fill up rather quickly with PS+ :)

I got

Pure wipeout
FIFA
Virtua tennis
Mortal Kombat
Resistance

where did you get 64GB ? I have 32GB memory card at the moment

Thanks Gouldin:thumbsup:

Japan Moneys  I did moneys convert to know how much is and much cheaper over there :)

I third TxK. Its ppssibly the best game I have ever played, even better than Tempest 2000 on Jag. Btw slk, you need to do some catching up, I think your last score has dropped off the leaderboards. I'm currently doing ok on the boards (floating around 100 on each). I just wish I had more time to master this game as I did T2K. Be aware that in USA v1.03 was released with broken friends leaderboard, it should have a patch to 1.06 any day. Euro got v1.06 from the start. All versions have a small bug still. Jeff found that if you don't acknowledge game over by pressing x your score won't get saved. So don't let the game over screen time out and go back to title if you just got a hiscore.

Other games are deffo Tearaway, such an incredibly happy game that makes you smile all the time. Wipeout 2048 is good too, although i disagree with it being the best yet. WO2097 still holds that crown. And Rayman, wow, both origins and legends are fantastic!

Dungeon Hunter is a nice Game too, and cheap at moment.Oh and i love Pinball Arcade , its cross buy with PS3.And Sine Mora....but its really hard

That was pretty well priced. less than a 32gb card here, with added VAT it'll be more expensive but still within reasons.

Then I might dare to buy a digital download or two. like TxK

64gb card ordered.

The vita was the first time I've used my psn account. I apparently registered it back in '08 but my first ever trophy was on the vita.

Now, i do not know any with vita beside you guys. is there any .. cross platform games so i can play with / against / compare scores with ps3/ps4 owners?

not that i have any friends on psn, but still.

There are plenty of cross platform games, but I don't remember any with leaderboards per se. Feel free to add me, though.

Yeah slk mate! More effort needed :-D if you drop below 1000th (which you must have done now) there is a strange effect that makes you appear to not have a score yet, its another niggle with the scoreboards atm. Giles says he isn't happy with the way PSN leaderboards work and to make them better in TxK he'd have to add alot of sloppy bloated code to 'get around' the issues. He can't say much else due to NDA. I hope he can fix it though.

Well, if you guys want to add a total n00b I'm moijk @ psn. don't be fooled by the 2008 join date.

You're better than my Mam, she has 0 trophies! :-D (she only uses her ps3 for video chat to me and for playtv and blu ray.... I know, terrible. I can't get her to play a single game!)

Gunslugs is a nice little Rogue Like 2D shooter. Solid gameplay, with nice chip music. Good for short bursts of gaming in a "see how far you can get on one life" sort of way. Was released yesterday to the tune of £2, I believe.

That's a good thing. Only indies and Dark Souls seem to have cojones enough to actually provide challenge these days.

I got to say, while I do planned to get most retail games - It's very convenient to have downloads. I wanted a go at uncharted, and did feel it was a game i wanted to play through once. Since it was included in psn plus I thought it was a neat thing to get with that. The game is ok, but I want to flog the people behind it for abusing the sensors on the vita. I don't like to scratch my screen, hold my controller in certain directions to balance on logs and so forth.

Yes, those sections do drag the game down, although I was genuinely surprised, when I had to hold the Vita against light, so see through parchment :)

Aiming utilizing motion to "touch up", is the most precise targeting with a controller I have ever experienced.

I think that bend got a bit carried away forcing the vitas unique features, but it is still a fantastic game. Its a real graphical showpiece too.
