Hi, recently I bought few Amigas and couple C64`s none of them came with PSU.
I have been searching for replacement power supply for Amiga 500,600,1200 and C64C.
shall I look for original PSU`s or buy new 3rd party ones? I found them
C64 & 1541-II PSU ( two in one ) and one for All amiga models from
www.c64psu.com they both around 50 euro.
Any ideas?
Thanks

According to the german Forum64, the first revisions of these PSU were really bad. After people complained, the creaters made plenty of improvements. The newest revisions of those PSUs are quite ok. I am going to get a PSU for a Amiga 600 at their site, but I am going to ask first when exactly the current batch has been manufactured and what improvements have been made.

Intending to buy one of these also. Probably the standard amiga version (rather than the pro one)

How long ago were the bad ones being sold I wonder?

Well, I like ide with commodore being 2 in 1 both computer and disk drive for me it will be even better if one will do them all ( One PSU to rule them all.... and into monitor bind them ....:P ) as my desk is getting a wee bit cluttered with all that cables;/.
do you think this PSUs will be better than originals?
also, I read somewhere that original C64 is like a time clock bomb.. not very safety.. whats about Amiga ones?

I've got one of their amiga PSUs for my 1200, runs quite a lot of stuff, indivision, rapidroad, ACA1233n, ethernet card etc. Not had any problems at all. Bought it from their ebay shop a couple months ago. I say give it a go.
