PSX joystick adapter for Amiga/Atari

I just had a crazy idea. I have an x-arcade dual stick. Now... that stick + one of these: http://www.xgaming.com/store/x-arcade-adapters/product/x-arcade-adapter-5-game-systems/ and two of your adapters...

Well, it was worth a shot, but doesn´t seem to work quite the way I hoped. Basically, tried turrican 2 with this combination of adapters and x-arcade stick and the character seems to be ducking all the time. Possibly its confusing power signal with "joystick down" signal or something. If anyone nearby wants one or two of these psx to amiga adapters then I can sell these forward at reduced postage cost
I´m sure these would work just fine with just regular psx controllers plugged in.

Here's some feedback, played some SWOS using two psx adapters on both amiga ports with an X-Arcade, two players gaming. Had some issues with the pass - shoot, but it might be some autofire enabled by X-Arcade
