i have a confession ...

I've never played putty squad...

Nor did I before this release which kind of makes it even more special :)

By the way, the WHDLoad version works both on my A1200 / ACA1232 and A4000 although on the A4000 I need to use the tooltype 'NOCACHE' and there are some slowdowns, it's 040 powered...

I also have to use NOCACHE on my 040-powered A4000, otherwise it locks up on the menu screen. Strange that the symptoms aren't the same...

Yeah that's why I need to use NOCACHE or it locks up on the menu, I should have mentioned that!

Does yours slow down?

I have a bunch of other stuff installed though like Tocatta Sound Card, Deneb USB and DKB3128 Z3 Fast Ram board, could be any one of those causing the slowdown as I need to run software to pass the Paula sound through the Sound Card :)

USB was disabled tho...

Finally had a spare few hours to get my Amiga out today and install/play it. Had to use real floppies as couldn't figure out how to downgrade my RawDIC version. But seems to have installed flawlessly from floppy.

It's a great game, took me a while to figure out all the moves etc but once you get in to it it's really good. It's pretty hard, died on the first level the first time, then gave up on the first level as I couldn't figure out how to exit the level (it's not entirely obvious that you need to press up AND fire to go through the exit door) and then finally died on the third level, couldn't find the last putty. Will definitely be going back for more though!

Big thanks to all involved.
