Great stuff, Cheers John! :) Can't wait for the next one, they should do one a month :D

Yeah, i've seen that vid before, nice showing of the Amibay area, but one of the guys gives the poor old CD32 pad a bit of a panning... he should have used the Comp Pro! next time i'll bring my PSx adapters!! :D

speaking of pads my comp pro cd32 pad is broken after the event one of the buttons is dead :-(

Only just bought that too!

Oh noes! Have you taken it apart? it might just be a split rubber, if so a tiny bit of super glue around the damaged tear should help, and if it doesnt, buy a SNES Comp pro (normally a great deal cheaper) and use its rubber parts as spares :) Or it could be a bit of beer or soda thats got in and it needs a clean. Hopefully is something simple to fix!

You couldn't miss your awesome tower m8! But I preferred it when you upgraded it to a lamp! :p

Might be of interest to you guys. The latest issue of Retro-Gamer is coming out soon.
Darran, the editor, previews it in his Youtube blog HERE you just get a glimpse of a certain forum member at r3play as he flicks the page. There's also a review on "Super Putty" the unreleased Amiga game, that has now been released as well as an article on stunt car racer. He mentions an "Amiga Dude" who pestered him for an article on this game.
Anyone here want to own up? ;)

Hey Phil - thanks for the link - THAT's ME playing Archer! Woot!

I'm off out to buy this tomorrow :) Awesome amount of Amiga Goodness going on in that issue! And yeah! It looks like THE CHAMP has made the big time! WOOOT! :D Well done there John mate! you are a superstar now...... I think we need to act accordingly and set aside a special area on Amibay for John to sit on his own and look all awesome.... somewhere where we can all point and stare in awe :D .... The John-a-throne!... *ahem*

Where pretty maidens can serve him tasty beverages, and he can survey his subjects? :D

Spotted this link from EAB earlier. Spong Blog

Mentions my C64G and talks about Amibay for a bit too. :)

Created by the Ami-Bay Amiga fan support group, there were barely recognisable Amigas running four-player Quake matches over a LAN. Nothing any modern PC can’t handle I grant you, but to see an Amiga doing this was another matter entirely. What’s also amazing is that these machines ran throughout the weekend.

not strictly true, but good enough. They only really got switched off when the scorch marks on the tables got noticeable. ;)
