It's actually pretty nippy already even on my 2yr old peecee. If we can get a 3D gfx driver it would be awesome. Hmm maybe the HD driver could be ported :-D

WinUAE now supports PPC - have a read over at EAB :)

Slayer, most people want a standard PC? We sell 400+ gaming PCs a month and won multiple awards for them. Gaming is a growth industry, up 10% from last year. PCs are not beige boxes anymore we have some mad designs!

We do seem to be straying off topic slightly ;)

you are correct Phantom, to each his own :)

although a windoze peecee can now run OS4.x, can your 3000+ EUR run Windows as well? :P

If I spent 3000+ euro on Amiga OS4.x hardware I wouldn't let Windoze near it! :D Microsoft appear to be going the way of Apple with all the marketing lingo - trying to create their own brand of 'synergy'. I like Windows 7 but 8 and beyond really don't float my boat - they've just made it look (and operate) a complete mess in terms of how the GUI functions.

OS4.x hardware is by no means cheap (and I understand why when there is a small user base). But Windoze really has had its day imo, it's just so bland now even if it was running on the Starship Enterprises mainframe.

p.s. keeping on topic - I don't mind paying for a 'driver' if someone has spent hours/days/weeks creating it. Nothing is free in life in any regard - companies will include R&D costs within the product hardware you buy in the shop.
