The PSU weights 2.4kg which means with the interns it will cost something ridiculous like 40e to ship it. I think if I remove the internals I can get it shipped for 13-20 euros. I took the PSU PCB off and it still weighs 2kg. What else can I strip?

All i really need is the outer casing and the cable with the amiga plug on it. If its too heavy after that then i guess i'll have to leave it. I do thank you for going to the trouble though :)
 
You can leave the button but the fan is part of the pc psu is it not? When i last had one it was literally a PC AT PSU bolted inside the case, the psu died on it and all i did was unbolt it, bolted a replacement in and hooked the Amiga cable. Could you post a pic so i can see what it looks like inside?

Np. I tried to strip it down but the case remained heavy and someone offered to pick it up and gave it to him. Apologies :(
