I got XBMC on my Pi at the moment and i have been really happy with how it handles the video.

I have it on 720p and have been going through some films and series that are on my external 120gb hard drive.

Nothing has given me any problems yet.

Whats your take on this little device being used as a media player ?

love it, I just need to find a compatible Wireless dongle that loads in XBMC, can use my phone as wireless remote control also.

get a wi-pi from cpc or the like (£12 + free delivery at the moment) :

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/bespoke/...bargains/part_detail/WiPi.jsp&isRedirect=true

you can connect with it through xbian/xbmc settings

and the pi is a superb little media player, has so far played everything i've thrown at it.

if you dont mind me asking, what distro are you using?

would you have a link available ?

I picked one up yesterday and haven't really had a chance to tinker with it much. Going to install openelec media center on it.
