I began to look for an RPi Zero, as I have an faulty Atari Lynx II, so I thought I'd just get a cheap 3,5" TFT and the Zero to make a retro handheld emulator. It seems that the plain Zeros for 5€ are pretty hard to come by. Are they still having a hard time supplying those?

They have been plentyful for a while but apparently they seem to be sold out again..

I have bought a couple through thepihut.com (can only buy one at a time though). Just sign up to be notified when they get them in stock - I had to wait less than 2 weeks as they often get new stock in.

I can see that they just got a Zero W version which is just like the Zero but with BT and WIFI built-in, so I guess the old version may be discontinued as I can no longer find it on the site.

If you're interested, I do have a spare unused Zero here that you can buy from me at my cost-price (£5) + shipping to FI which should come out to about €9.25 in total.

Edit: Don't know why I couldn't find the original Zero on their page before - now it's there, so perhaps it is not discontinued after all. The new one is also almost twice as expensive..
