Hi all, up for sale is a recapped A600 board.

Recapped by myself this evening and tested to boot from floppy & hdd.

Caps were provided by Amigakit and all caps were replaced without problem except one. This one had particularly bad leakage and the solder pad came off. I have bridged it with a small piece of kynar wire (see pic).

RGB tested fine, unable to test RF or Composite because i don't have the correct cables. After what seems like hours swapping disks to get Monkey Island 2 to load, sound is also working perfectly.

Just the board, no shielding or roms included. Board is marked as A300 rev 1.1

I removed the RF modulator & Audio sockets when replacing the capacitors so as not to melt any plastics.

Asking £15 (was£30 then £20) plus p&p

Hi mate, postage should be pretty cheap via basic courier like Hermes. I'm guessing £5 should cover it and if it's less ill refund the difference.

Always good to have a spare, especially recapped! Geez I was tempted and I don't have an A600 anymore, fortunately for you Taj I also have no money

You would not be quick enough Steve! :p:lol: The fact that Mike recapped it too is my main reason for having it as a spare, gotta keep our Amigas ticking over dont we guys :)

Payment sent now Mike

Yeah Mikes work is excellent, he done my RGB modded Master System 2 and recapped my Game Gear, both are a joy to use :)

I'm still a :ninja: though, so watch out

That motherboard might have saved me a few hours of work in changing a new PLCC socket into my Vampire. The current socket is a tight fit on a rev 1 A300 board but quite loose on my rev 2D board.

Well, to the winner goes the spoils. :)

Board was collected by Hermes this lunch time.

Feedback has been left for Taj
