Hi Guys,

Can anybody potentially repair my 1200 motherboard (A1 revision I believe), the problem is that the vertical mouse movement is intermittent, when it works it's fine. Normally it works for a few minutes when the machine is powered on, but then stops after 10 or so minutes.

I have tried two mice, one brand new and the problem must lie with the Amiga.

Can anybody help? And if so what cost would be involved?

Thanks in advance

Paul

PS I'm in Reading UK.

Hi had a similar problem with my A600: it was one of the resistors that connect the mouse/joystick movment signal to the multiplexer chip.

Just a few photos to justify a requirement for caps replacement apart from repair.

Cheers Chris 100% recommend.

Of coarse it now means I have a working spare rev 2B motherboard (tested) if anybody is interested :)

(bought on on the bay as thought mine was unfixable - I was wrong lol)
