Please consider making such a controller but with at least one CF card slot instead of IDE connector. Maybe even two CF slots.
I would be definitely interested in such a device.
There is lack of direct CF-zorro device on the market.
The only one I know of is new Buddha+1 that has CF slot.
This ripple looks like ideal platform for making a board with 2 CF slots. Or at least one.

PS: Yes, I know I can use CF-IDE adapter, but my goal is to have a slot directly on the card.

i know that alot of user cf card use , but cf cards give something problems , i have also the buddha plus one , but the cf are give me problems , i use sata ssd works beter and faster on the amiga , and it is not myn design of the ripple-ide , so i don't change it to ad a cf connector

Declaring interest.
Declaring interest for remaining 2 units (or 1 if only 1 left). Sending PM.

Can i ask the stupid question of how auto boot actually works for a CD-Rom.

If i have the filesystem and kickstart setup correctly, is autoboot via selecting cd0 on early startup or is it based on the system booting once it detects a CD in the drive ?

Thanks
