In order to improve airflow in my packed A4000D, I'd like to get some rounded cables (yeah, I know about cross-talk and I don't care).
Finding rounded SCSI cables is very difficult, and rounded floppy cables with the correct "twist" for dual floppy drive setups is impossible.
Can anyone here with the appropriate equipment (crimping tool, connectors, cables, shrink hose, etc) make such cables?

I'd need:

1 x rounded floppy drive cable for DF0 and DF1 (with the "Amiga twist")
1 x rounded 50pin SCSI cable for a 2 drive setup

Please PM me if you can make such cables or know someone who sells them.

The rounded 50-pin SCSI cables are available in the US without needing adapters, the 34-pin cable you will have to or have someone modify. The flat cables are easy, I've done 2, but the round would require at least some ability.

I might just carefully cut them in a few strips with a sharp knife and then use some cable ties to hold it together...

I've done it by separating the distal connector carefully, splitting the transposed wire as a small group and flipping them over. I then put the connector back together, press firmly and put a drop of super glue on both connector ends

Well, I did just fold them in a "W" shape and used small cable ties to hold it together. Not as neat as a real round cable, but it works.

There is a tool available in several internet shops that transform shower hoses in spirals to cover home-rounded cables.

Let me check if I find the gizmo...

But you can make your own using a shower hose and a special tool that is cheap as chips.
