Zerec,
Looks like you hit the mother lode.

Voyager,
Could you please take some close up pics of just the dongles? I don't need the pinouts. I found a dongle attached to one of the A2000 motherboards I bought years ago and was wanting to see if it matched those. Mine is red. If it does not visibly match, what I will do it post pics of it in a separate topic to see if anyone knows what it might match.

Thanks Voyager!

Well, I believe that helps me confirm that the DB-9 dongle I have is not for Scala.

Sure, but I don't want to further hijack this topic. I'll open a separate topic and post a pic for it.

Thanks!

How about this one? I am pretty sure this came with the first batch of Scala I picked up.....

I couldn't help myself, I wanted to know what was inside! There is a black wire, with exposed tinned end, that isn't connected to anything (and there are no empty pins making it obvious where it goes)! I am 100% sure I didn't damage it opening it...so wtf???

My mystery dongle is actually very tiny. It has the usual DB-9 connector with no pass through or logo. It has a very small black plastic block that is covered by what looks like red plastic or tape. It's only about a third the size of the Scala dongles. Sorry for lack of picture, but will add that soon.

Red dongle is for Scala MM200, Green is for MM300, Yellow is for MM400 & Infochannel.

Did you ever find Infochannel 500? I have the original Infochannel 400 boxed manual with yellow dongle. Interested?

I would like to buy it if it’s still available. Got some pics?

cheers,

Norman
