Hello everyone on the forum. Just bought three Amigas, a 500, 1200 and a 2000. Used to have Amigas years ago but then sold them as UAE became usable on a PC. But there's nothing like owning the real thing, they were ahead of there time and I just love the whole aura of this great machine.
Will hopefully be looking to buy some bits and bobs for them. The 2000 has a GVP HC8+ SCSI card in with 4mb ram installed on the card and will have a 9 gig drive turning up for it in the next few days. Want to get an accelerator for it when I see one at a reasonable price. The 500 has a GVP HD8 with 4mb memory but only has a 49mb drive so will be looking for a bigger drive for that soon. The 1200 has a Blizzard 020/28mhz expansion with 8mb and a 4gb CF card. So really all bases covered.
So hope to have some good conversations and banter with you good people. I'm a bit rusty at the moment with these machines but it is amazing how it all starts to come back.
