Another way to take the "Thunder" out of your Thunderdrive
I created a new mount for the SCSI2SD v5.1 board I picked up from Amigakit. This board is available all over the place. The mount fits in the same location as the original mechanical drive and small interface board that comes with the Thunderdrive. With this bracket, you discard the original drive mounting hardware, drive and interface board. Then, through the same mounting holes, you install this mount and subsequently, your SD interface card. That's all there is to it.
The mount comes with spacers, heatsets embedded into the mount, all the screws and hex key tool. You supply the SCSI2SD v5.1 board and the Thunderdrive.

The price is $20.95 USD and includes the bracket, all the screws, washers (of course embedded brass heatsets), spacers and hex key tool. PM me for shipping cost for your location.
