Hi everyone,

I'm offering an SD2IEC for C64 that works without cables, comes with a 3D-printed case, and features extended firmware (available at https://github.com/piotr-wrobel/sd2iec_atmega128, with some modifications made by me: https://github.com/Sgw32/sd2iec_a128).

It's fully compatible with the SD2IEC on Atmega644, but it's more affordable and optimized for mass production.

My firmware supports cheaper Chinese microSD cards, even those with large capacities like 64 GB. It also supports all the same fastloaders, and has almost the same firmware in this part.

The device has been tested and is fully functional. I currently have 9 units available, but I can continue to sell this item permanently if needed.
The color of the enclosure may be different without notice (black in stock, matte C64-like coming soon).
Additionally, the item is also listed on eBay, but at a higher price.
I can offer discounts if you are buying more than one unit.

Price: 25 EUR

Shipping from Slovenia to the EU and worldwide (8 EUR)

Payment via PayPal, Revolut, or IBAN.
Proof of ownership on photo below.

Item received and so far it works perfectly.
However, I can't seem to find any information on what the three buttons do. Can you point me in the right direction?

Edit: Found it
Reset/ next/ prev

Cheers!

If attached in C64, from player side its left to right: Prev, Next, Reset
Prev+Next creates autoswap.gen if needed.

Thanks for the feedback!

I received mine. It's just great and neat at once.

Few questions:

Is it compatible with Jiffy-DOS ROMs in C64 for Fastloading ?
EXOSV3 from my EasyFlash works a treat, but I intend to use this smart SD2IEC in conjunction with some custom oldschool cart, that does not provide a floppy speeder on its own.

My understanding ist that SD2IEC implements a buch of fast loading floppy protocols amongst them Final-Cart-III,EXOSV3 and others. But not the ones based on special ROMs in a 1541 real floppy ? So you loose some final speed ups, I would not care ... Is this correct?

Hello.
I need to check the code. Actually, I think it has such support.
I'll send here the link to sources with support implementation on GitHub today or tomorrow.
Generally, SD2IEC is really much faster. But I never tried it with JiffyDOS. My friends tested it with C64 OS.
Previously, I think, tested it with FC3 and it worked ok.

Update:
So, here is the line which refers to support of JiffyDOS:

FC3 is supported as well:

I think I tested FC3 support but long time ago
