sd2iec for c64 ,anybody wan't it?

In meantime, anybody know source for floppy plugs for c64? My idea is made few externial, in enclosure , battery operated ,easy to connect to c64 via disk drive port. Good idea or not?

Jim Brain's version is external.

here is the floppy(serial) port pinout:

Jim just made up a new version of the uIEC-Daughtercard with off switch and a external power port here's the old and new..

i have 1 of the older ones, for an external unit in a proper housing, running off a 5v adapter would definately be nice.

SD2iec boards was posted to me, but i'm short of cash to buy parts so ready made device take some time, sorry. I made preorder page but i think is against Amibay rules i so i can't give adress.
