To get the speed increase, you need JiffyDOS in both the computer and the drive. Fortunately, all the new SD2IEC firmwares are JiffyDOS compatible so you only need JiffyDOS for the computer.

the SD is now fitted inside the C64 and I've cut a hole in the case (its a rough c64) and yes, I've cut the hole in the wrong place at the top!

So I've fixed, it with hard glue which i'll rub down before i paint the C64 BLACK

Should I get Blue Paint(that you normally paint on the wall) for c64?

on the wall? erm no ...atleast get an aerosol of some kind. plasikote is made for plastics and does a great finish if you spray it properly
