Sold Sega Genesis Nomad

I am selling my long time owned Sega Genesis Nomad which is basically a portable Sega Genesis and was only released in the US market in the mid 90s.

It has a video output port (NTSC) and controller adaptor to plug in a second joypad for two player action - crazy but cool! It includes the battery pack which takes 6 AA batteries - this thing is hungry! I have used a MegaDrive II PSU but this does not fit very well, the tip is a bit loose - you would need the official US one which I don't have.

It is in working order, there are some scuffs/marks on the screen but consistent with the age of the unit.

Other Amibayers have seen this in action and did comment that the screen quality is poor by today's standards! This is a problem with this early LCD technology I'm afraid but there are mods to replace this if you like a challenge.

It will play some PAL games, but remember this is a NTSC US console.

Sega Nomad Console
