Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help.
I have a Sega Nomad which i've replaced the LCD. The new LCD takes its video signal from the Composite on the AV Out port internally.
I also have an RGB scart cable which was wired for sync on composite but gave a yellow picture when connected (both before & after the LCD replacement).
I know the scart is fine as it works perfectly well on my MDII console however this particular MDII has had pin4 cut and bridged with pin5 to provide C-Sync as the image wasn't stable on my LCD. The image below shows what i mean.

I thought i'd give this a try with my Nomad so i cut the track running to pin 4 thereby disconnecting composite and confirmed it with a multimeter. I then tacked the new lcd to the composite signal further down the trace and the lcd still works fine. I have now bridged pins 4 and 5 to provide C-Sync as with the MD2 but i still get a yellow image from the Nomad on the TV.
Anyone able to shed some light on it? Can i not use the Composite and C-Sync together or do you think there's a problem with the AV port?
