  • Pentium II 400 Mhz SL3EE Slot 1 – 15 EUR
Motherboard:

  • Tyan S2080 (Tyan Tomcat i815T), socket 370, Tualatin ready, with post code screen attachment that works. Fully working and tested with Tualatin 1.4 Ghz in Windows 98. Doesn’t come with I/O shield – 50 40 35 30 EUR [SOLD] to agemon

Motherboard + CPU + RAM + Cooler combo

  • Epox 8rda3+ - AMD Athlon XP Barton 3200+ - 2 x 1 GB DDR 400 – Spire cooler. I replaced all the large caps near the CPU, the larger ones near the RAM slots and one which was bulging near the first PCI slots with Panasonic caps. Doesn’t come with I/O shield – 190 170 EUR [Decided not to sell anymore]
  • MSI 815EPT PRO VER 5 – Pentium III-S 1400 Mhz – 256 MB RAM – Intel cooler. Good working condition and clean looking. Does come with an old school style I/O shield – 180 170 160 150 140 130 EUR
  • MSI MS5169 Ver 3 AL9 Super Socket 7 – AMD K6-2 500 Mhz – 256 MB RAM – generic socket 7 cooler (not shown in pictures). The board has some replaced caps with Japanese quality ones. Has a CPU socket peg chipped. Doesn’t affect functionality but extra care must be ensured when mounting the cooler as the plastic must be brittle. Doesn’t come with I/O shield – 100 80 70 60 50 EUR
Items will be tested again before shipping.
Payment via Paypal friends and family. Will ship to EU regardless of value. Will ship outside EU if order larger than 50 EUR.

Edit: Did some fiddling with the Tyan motherboard. Updated to the latest BIOS, and tested in windows 98 with PIII 1266 and PIII 1.4 Ghz. Both are detected automatically and no settings need to be done in BIOS. With the new version, the post screen just shows a weird date. With the old BIOS it showed all sorts of post codes and descriptions while posting. Maybe there are some bios settings that need to be enabled. Just noticed that one of the wires of the post code screen is severed and reconnected via twisting (doesn't affect functionality). This update is to confirm that it works with PIII 1.4 Ghz, because officially it's not supported.
