RS232 [serial] interface tester and breakout / patch box.
Inmac Clear-Signal Plus Multistate Tester Model 8362 complete with jumpers and User's Manual in padded case. It is self powered by 2 x 9v batteries (not included).
Using it you can sort out most if not all serial interface problems. Approx 20 years old but still did the business when last used in 2005.
