Hi All....

Has anyone ever made a serial to ps2 adapter for a mouse? If so has anyone got a diagram?

Cheers all :)

PS/2 and serial mice differ in more than just the pinout; they use different protocols as well. There are adapters out there, but you can't just wire one up; you'd have to have some kind of microcontroller handling the conversion.

Most every conversion from other protocols to the Amiga would require more than just an adapter, just like commodorejohn said. You'd need a PIC and a programmer (h/w and s/w) to do that... In the long run you might as well either buy a second Amiga mouse, or get a ready-made adapter for it like the cocolino or similar. The link given by dibs requires a PIC too.
