SGI Silicon Graphics O2 DEFECTIVE parts, these parts are NOT working, they are defected.
Considered these parts for repair purpose or as donor only.
1. O2 System Board P/N 030-1038-004 REV. B
This board gives solid amber led, no video signal, no output on serial port. Despite this color code should be related with CPU board issues, it never changed status with several CPU boards, different RAM, new DALLAS RTC and even different CPU PIMMs. Probably needs to be checked by a technician to be fixed (looks like there's a problem on system board side around CPU connectors).
2. O2 System Board P/N 030-1227-001 REV. P
This board gives solid red led, this should be dead-dead;
3. O2 CPU board P/N 030-1102-001 REV. G MIPS R5000SC 180Mhz 512Kb cache mem. No one of my O2s boot with this CPU board, so defect as well.
4. O2 RAM 2x 16Mb not detected by hinv command when they are installed together with other modules, defected.
5. O2 Audio Module 030-1145-001, this should works but not tested, so sold as defected as like all the parts above.
All parts sold AS IS, you will receive exactly what you see in the pictures.
