Sharp Compact XVI X68000 comes complete with official keyboard and mouse and SH-6BE-4M memory expansion card to expand to a total 6MB, all monitor cables and a joypad also included. The system is fully working and comes with 3.5" floppy drives rather than 5.25".
Also included is an external SCSI drive (SCSI connector included) with an Aztec Monster running a 4GB CF card loaded with games so no need to even use floppy disks, I will also include a system disk on a 3.5" floppy and a Toshiba USB floppy drive which will enable you to write floppy disk images to blank floppys (using Windows XP only) if you wish.
The main unit has no cracks or damage, the only bad point is some of the plastic around the keyboard connector cable (see picture) has come away however it works perfectly.
Perfect complete system for someone as its totally plug and play and you will not need to buy anything else as you have everything you need in this package.

£525.00 Including Postage (UK ONLY)

Sorry my friend :( I couldn't resist. I'll probably be selling my current one when I return in the new year although I've told theAntmeister he has first refusal as I work with him

Apologies, I forgot to leave feedback.

Done this now

I do have a question if that's OK? The machine shows it as having 2MB on the switch screen. Do I need to move that to 6MB or will the games automatically use it? I'm still learning my way around the system :).

You must change to 6MB. Games that requires more than 2MB will fail to load if you don´t change this to the correct amount of memory.

Thanks seems to be working now

I also tried my Genesis adapter from Retro Cables but I couldn't get the 6 buttons to work despite selecting the -MD option in the options menu and then the machine started acting up on rebooting so I quickly removed it and stuck my FM Towns joypad back in. I think I'll have a go at modifying a 6 button controller as it seems to be a simple case of cutting and swapping some wires around
