OMG you just fixed my C64c... it had a really bad humming sound which i can gather i blew the sid chip by connecting it to my PC.

Thank you so much it was packaged really well too. Defo giving you a shout out in my c64 video which i will be doing very soon.
 
That doesn't exactly mean they consume less, they could be colder by design but consume the same current.
My question is because I am building a 3 SID system and I don't want to over exert the power supply. What do you think?

ATMEGA88 datasheets reports 250 uA (micro ampere) at 20MHZ 1.8V
This run at 5V 32MHZ ... perhaps 5mA? SIDs run with a lot more power :-)
