Hi
I have a few nice SID chips for sale.
MOS 6581 CBM (1985)
MOS 6581 R3 (1985) Sold to njspencer79
MOS 8580 R5 (1988) Sold to globaltrasher
All chips were pulled out of working computers: C128, C64 and C64C respectively, fully tested and working.
35€ each + postage (7€ for most of the EU).
There were quite a few sources of SID chips from China and other places that had various issues: unbalanced channels, non working filters or they just sounded weird. This is not the case with these ones.
Few notes (That I'm sure you already know.):
6581R3 and 6581CBM use the same R3 mask and sound the same. They can be used together in stereo setups.
8580's and 6581's are not mutually interchangeable, as they use different voltages and filter circuit. Interchanging them without the proper adapter will likely damage or destroy these chips.
BR,
E.
