A bit off the beaten track, but given the current weather conditions, it seems appropriate timing for this particular rant.

Why do some people think that because it's snowing, they have the right to throw snowballs at complete strangers?

I was fortunate today that I managed to avoid that, but at least two people I know have been victim to unprovoked snowballing. As far as I'm concerned, it's basically just another form of assault. No better than throwing rocks at a stranger (and if you pack a snowball tight enough, can be just as dangerous)

If you're out with mates having a laugh, that's one thing. But to think it alright to just lob one at a total stranger? What the hell?

Aye, I agree.

A few years back a bunch of kids thought it funny to pelt my car, and a few others with snowballs. One of the little buggers put a fricken rock in one and it smashed the car in front's side window...

Criminal damage.

Glad it wasn't my window, or I'd have had the kid hanging from a tree

Yip another persons fun is someone elses odditity - my vehicle has been hit on the drivers side window quite a few times over the years and it can be quite startling - it's other peoples kids and what there parents generally endorse, so me parents must really believe a bit of snow won't hurt anyone and even if it does it's just a freak accident

hmm, was just talking about this to mum the other night about how many stupid people are out there who can't even consider the consequences of over-eating let alone worrying what a snow ball will do for example - people just don't have any discipline and don't wish to put pressure on themselves to toe the line...

It's like being with the family at xmas and most of them deciding it's a great idea to do a signature dance to a song. I'm a great observer but not a great participater, I don't get any fun out of buggering around like that LOL - different but the same ;-)

Little buggers have taken to lobbing them at peoples windows round here. I believe 1 window was put through yesterday by an iceball.

i had the same last year on my cg125 there was about 10 of the sods they got me i was about to go over too them and a local police car went over to them and they scarpered they probably moved on and carried on :double

If anyone threw a snowball at me I'd throw an Atari ST back at them :D

Yesterday my brother got one straight on the windshield. The little bugger had 4-5 stones in it. The windshield looks like its been hit by a scattergun. Cost him £100-£150. ( that's what they quoted ) for him

One of the kids at the school that my kids attend had a very bad injury due to a "snowball"

He had his right cheek split open and a massive blackeye which he still can not open. He also spent around 3 days in the hossy because of it.

Total morons

Saw a pic on Facebook of a kid with the same injuries. A packed ice snowball. Horrible mess :(

If you have one snowball in one hand and another snowball in the other hand, what have you got?
