Does anybody know if Softhut is still up and running? I've sent a couple of emails through to them recently but haven't had a resonse.

I bought some stuff from Softhut in May or so, got responses pretty quickly at the time and the items shipped promptly too.

I also e-mailed them asked if they were still around took 2 weeks but got a e-mail from them saying yes but I just hate dealing with sites that don't update there sites,there used stuff was last updated 2005!!

Mr Hardware is the same way still waiting to hear from them...

Safehabor is all PC no amiga..

Well, I placed an order through Softhut yesterday, still not heard anything back so I'm not sure if they are still in business or not.

Maybe it is just holiday time, like said earlier I ordered 3.1 roms for the a3000 and had trouble with the rom tower.. So I got help from Joe, and it was rather quick, exept for the time difference.

Joe and I have been having an email discussion for a week now. He is very much still around. I bought a new-old A4000T and the power supply blew. I ordered one from Newegg (faster for me to order) and hopefully the computer will boot once I insert the new power supply. If not I will be returning the computer since he is selling them with a 6 month warranty. Hopefully he will have some A4000Ts still available.

Hi Mike,

I wonder if you could ask Joe if he's not receiving the email and sales orders. Perhaps there might be an issue with the website.

As I said, I've sent through two emails that have remained unanswered and one order that has remained unfulfilled (it was a software order).

Just for the record, the A4000T uses a standard PC-AT power supply, you should be able to acquire one for not a lot. Alternatively, you might be able to find an adapter and use a far more-common ATX unit.

AndyLandy thanks for the info. I ordered a 400 WATT AT power supply from Newegg so I hope that will fix the problem. Thanks
