Sony Playstation 3 60GB CECH-C03
These CECH-C03 model PS3's are becoming rarer to find, and a lot of them have had YLOD and temporarily "fixed", this console has no such issues and has never been repaired.
The console is in fantastic condition, not full of scratches, and is perfect working order, but is however missing part of the plastic cover/flap over the memory card reader (see pictures), this is purely cosmetic and doesn't effect the working state of the console. I am not entirely sure how or why this is missing, and still may have it somewhere, but I believe a spare could be obtained at eBay's marketplace.
The console is backward compatible with pretty much all of the PS1 games library, and a very big portion of the PS2. It will play PS1 and PS2 games directly from disc.
I have recently applied fresh Artic Cooling MX-2 thermal compound that has 8 years durability to both the CELL and RSX chips. I have also thoroughly cleaned inside of the console and the blu-ray drive laser.
Temps after 5 hours of gaming.
CPU = 55c and RSX = 51c, these temps are very cool for a PS3 60GB ( see pic ).
The PS3 temps will never go above 58c with the current fan controller settings.
The console is complete with the original box which is in perfect condition with all packaging, and the original documentation.

I believe the following mods are the best you could possibly give a PS3-60GB CECH-C03 model , especially when you consider their stock running temps are quite high.
The console has been jail broken and has Rebug 4.86.1 installed along with webMAN and multiMAN.
REBUG = Rebug is a custom firmware for jailbroken ps3 systems.
webMAN = Webman is a Cobra/Mamba boot plugin featuring many of Multiman's features, whilst also having another backup manager and webMAN games launcher. It has many extra features such as a continuous FTP server, easy installer, IDPS spoofing, and also a fan controller that keeps the PS3 A LOT cooler than with stock settings.
multiMAN = Multiman boasts a number of features, such as file manager, media player, Web browser, FTP server, emulator launcher and ROM lister, Blu-ray movie converter and the ability to install games from a disc onto the PS3.
The jailbreak can of course be removed if not required, by a simple system update with an official firmware update.
