UPDATE: Sorry, I no longer have any of these available.



I can provide a GAL chip for Gameblaster/CMS compatibility on the Soundblaster 2.0 (chip U12 on the card). They will be tested on my own SB 2.0 and confirmed working.

This is just one chip, the two SAA1099P chips aren't included but you can get them from ebay, or perhaps this place will have them too: http://acpcomponents.com

Price is $10 including international economy shipping worldwide.

I have an agreement with Chinners to sell one chip.


I have ordered more chips, so I can provide them to anyone who needs them, just have to wait for them to arrive.

No probs keropi, unfortunately Aust Post is glacially slow at this time of year so don't be surprised if they don't show up this month... :(

there is no real hurry , got my upgraded 1.5 to keep me company :lol:
 
GAL arrived today, and despite the postal service's best attempts to flatten the chip, it is now installed.

Hey, definitely interested in one of the GAL chips dude. Lemmie know when they come in and they're ready to send!
 
I suppose $15 would cover it- not like the package will weigh a lot more :)


So that's 5 out of 10 chips that are spoken for so far... (they still haven't arrived yet)
 
Good news!
The chips have arrived! I have programmed them all and tested each one in my CT1350, and have confirmed that Gameblaster, CMS and Adlib mode all work :thumbsup:

I will PM everyone who has posted interest so far. There are still 5 up for grabs :) The price is $10 including economy international shipping, which just covers my costs.


To clarify this is for the U12 chip only. You will have to find the other two chips, U8 and U5, but these should be fairly easy to find on ebay or the likes (you need 2x Philips SAA1099P chips)
 
I am upgrading my interest in 2 Gals since I see there aren't many takers, sending PM :)
 
Sorry, SOLD OUT at the moment. I have ordered more but there may be up to a month or more until I receive them and can program/test them. Will update the thread when I have more stock.
