I just refuse to buy the same movies AGAIN.I bought them on LaserDisc, VHS and DVD. Not going to buy give George any more money for the same movies.

Yes it is all 6 films, plus 30-40 hours of extras. Sadly I don't think it includes the orgiinal theatrical releases of the original trilogy :-(
Some potential bad news is that Lucas still can't leave things alone and has apparently tinkered with the films some more for this release. Replacing the puppet Yoda in Ep 1 with a CGI Yoda, altering how Jaba's palace looks as C3PO and R3 approach it in EPVI, and even changing the sound Obi-Wan makes in EPIV when he first appears and scares off the sand people. Mad! Though I suppose an artist is never 100% happy with their work and feel the need to continue playing with it. But equally an artist should know when something is finished and they shouldn't play with it any more.
Precisely! I find upscaled DVDs to be very watchable on my 1080P set. In fact, when I purchase movies or TV shows, I tend to still buy the DVD version because they are usually less expensive and look fine.By the art of upscaling![]()
