Hi.
I have a spare A1200, stock with no expansions at all that I want to trade for an ACA500. I decided that my first Amiga love the A500 should be the one I use daily rather than a 1200!
This A1200 is stock. I have tested it with my ACA1232 which works fine. There is a cosmetic issue (pictured) where the bottom left and right of the case has a slight bulge, this is from a careless previous owner who obviously tightened the screws too much and they started to push through. They are barely noticeable, however. There is some yellowing to some of the keys.
The inside has the top RF shielding removed, I have no idea why but it never caused any issues for me. The machine boots fine with the floppy using a WB3.1 install disk. Also boots from the IDE port when it has my CF connected to it.
The reason I want to trade is that if I spend any more money right now on retro gear, I am seriously heading for a divorce! As my missus tells me, I am now insolvent as far as Amiga's go unless I get rid of something! hehe
So if anyone has an ACA500 they would like to trade, please let me know.
