Complete, question 8 (about data transfer), is mostly where people contact me, because they don't trust computer shops, don't wan't to pay, or don't wan't people to find out what is on there hard disk..

I refuse them mostly, if not close relatives, since I have a busy life and no b...

(There's no option to include "other" computers in Q1 - if you can repair 1980-2000 home computers you might have some more customers here!)

One area you may want to think about is network media sharing (you mention setting up a home network) but folk want things that have a tangible benefit to them so this may be an option (for instance for around £500 a customer could get a PS3 on a GB wired network and hook it up to a cheap NAS and stream movies, music and TV to the big TV in the main room). Just a thought for you to consider.
