After upgrading to a larger 5amp bench supply here is my original compact supply for sale.

Its a Maplin L10BR compact unit withe the following specs:

6 output voltages - DC 3 - 4.5 - 6 - 7.5 - 9 and 12V
Continuous 3000mA current across all voltage outputs
Screw terminal posts that also accept banana plugs
Banana Plug To Banana Plug leads included.

Great condition and full working order.

Looking for (was £20 then £17) NOW £15 delivered

So is this the kind of thing I'd need to power cmos and ttl chips on a breadboard? Once upon a time I got a lot of such bits together but lost interest before actually doing anything with it.
 
Yep this will do it, of course you will want to be sitting down on the 5v output mark for those (best to check the recommended working levels, but 5V is usually fine) but it will do the job fine. You also have the ability to ramp it up if you need to for other projects that might want 9 or 12V inputs.
