How cooooool, obviously not quite like the original as you play one rather than be the orchestrator as with the original game - but wow, what about the graphics as well?!?!? And the basic concept of the world appears unchanged

Still, it IS just another gears of halo deus warfare. Hurray for making a new syndicate, but a reimagineing of the org gameplay would have been much sweeter. Cool but uninspired. Imho

I like FPS games, but more of the WW2 type or even Crysis. I must be getting old, ...watching this preview I thought it was just mindless unnecessary violence to make up for and uninteresting plot. Just MHO.

But I never played syndicate properly on the Amiga, was it the same mindless violence?

Most games today are speeded up , killing games sadly.

I only started playing FPS's on the PC platform because of the better graphics capability, not sure what Syndicate was like on Amiga.

I wonder though what happened to all the DX 11 games that were going to appear for the hardware that have supported it for the past couple of years or so.

Tried coop in syndicate on ps3 the other day, which was actually pretty fun. Liked the hacking stuff to turn off armor, etc

And EA - after they vomited their "DRM" over all their new PC titles, I wouldn't touch it with a [insert rude word here] stick.

Is it me, or are games these days basically the same as they were 8 years ago, but with more detail?

I must admit after watching a few minutes I thought the same... I think maybe the original was equally as brutal but the limited graphics by today's standard disguised the reality of what you were doing when firing a bazooka at a taxi for fun, or made it more acceptable back in the day... Games look so real now, its make me think..
