Tekmagic has arrived but I have a weird issue with the SCSI, It gives an error on initial boot with the option to resume which when clicked gives the same error just a different unit number and I seem to have to click through all the units. This is with or without a SCSI HDD connected.
Once I have got through them all I get the Amiga boot screen. Also holding the two mouse buttons doesn't work until I get passed all these errors but when in the Amiga boot menu card is indicated as working.
I've tested this in 3 different A2000 and they all display the same error (a2000 with no other Zorro cards attached also get the same error).
I've set the SCSI terminator jumper to on and off but same error whatever way it is set.
I've run it along side my Buddha to get me into an OS and the card seems to be working in all other aspects i.e. CPU FPU & MMU detected Ram displayed it's just the SCSI side which is not working.
I've PM'd
Miru to see if he has seen this before or if he knows what I may be doing wrong but was wondering if anybody else may of had this issue?
It's really frustrating because has I said the card is rock solid with everything else.
I have a plan in place for more diagnosis:
1. One of my pals is sending me a SCSI terminator to "Clean" the SCSI Bus has he put it.
2. I've ordered some 27C512 eproms to make some new boot ROMs to rule them out.
3. If all of the above does not work will look to replace the onboard SCSI Controller NCR 53C710 IC.
Anyone got any other ideas please fire them my way
Thanks to all that read this
