I was wondering if it was possible to put a PGA Socket on the board instead as I have a 50Mhz 68030 I bought off Ebay for my A2000, however I found out the GVP3001 I have is built for a 25Mhz Clock as it has burst mode timing specific components apparently (There's a 25Mhz CPU already on the board)

If you are asking if you can buy a board without the CPU, this is not offered on Amibay at the moment, because 99% of CPUs sold on ebay are fake/reprinted and you really need a good CPU to run the TF330. Many of those reprints won't work and it would be a complete nightmare for me to support. If you want to buy it outside of Amibay, we can discuss that but again, there would be no further support offered if things don't work.

Sorry I didn't know that. I could try it in the accelerator but I guess I don't know if it's been reprinted even if it works cause it's limited to 25Mhz on the GVP board. I had a look at my Ebay History it says 'MC68030RC40B 68030 40 mhz PGA' for US $26 not even 50Mhz so I guess it's no great loss getting another one.

Apologies, I forgot to modify the thread. The 50MHz versions are no longer available as there are no more gold 50MHz CPUs available to buy. You can only get a 68EC030RP40 clocked at 50 MHz. Sorry!
