Is the riser needed? Is there a downside to using the riser? Is there an alternative expansion cover (3D print)? Is the CF image downloadable? I'm just trying to figure out WHAT to order before I place an order.

I'm tempted to get the board itself, no CPU (I have the LC I pulled from my 1260) but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.

You cannot plug the board into the CD32 without the riser, but if you have one left over from a previous expansion (e.g. TF328, 330) then you can use that.

Cd32 is designed in such a way that expansions sit inside the console at a 180 degree angle, but that requires the use of a riser

You can indeed download 3d printable covers for the ubiquitous Kipper riser, however I can’t provide you with one as I don’t own a 3D printer.

You can download the disk image from my support page which I invite you to visit to discover all the details regarding this expansion board. It is located on http://tfboards.online

Thanks!

Thank you, the card has arrived. Works great with AmigaOS 3.9. Below is a short material from the installation and testing of the TF360 card.

You actually put a real mechanical drive inside. That's crazy! But I am glad it works well.
