Have you tried adding SKIPROMUPDATES "scsi.device" to the setpatch command.

I think the ACA500 uses a patched scsi.device. I was planning on setting up my ACA500 with a ACA1221 over the weekend - I will have a look at setting up OS3.9 & see how I get on as well although I plan to only use 3.1

I do look forward to hearing of your results. :D

Thanks,
Ron

I would like to report an observation and post an issue.

It could be scsi.device update breaking it (Especially if AUX stops working)
Do the errors disappear if you configure ACA500 to not have any expansion options enabled? (no IDE update, no AUX slot)

Hello. Blizzard 1230 MK3 work with ACA 500?
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/blizzard1230mk3
Blizzard SCSI kit usable?
68040 and 68060 CPU usable to A500? Blizzard 1260, Apollo 1260, etc.

Blizzard 1230MKIV/1240/1260 and SCSI Kit IV are confirmed working. I don't think Apollo's work. (68040/060 require patched 68040/68060.library, without it setpatch will hang the system)

No idea if 1230MK3 work.

btw, do you have 1230mk3? If yes, could you dump the boot ROM? (first step is to include WB3 tools/showconfig output). Thanks.

OS 3.9 work with Amiga 500 + ACA500 + ACA1221 upgrade 28 MHz 9 MB? 68020, KS 3.1, fastRAM OK.

Blizzard 1230 MK4 OK, but Blizzard 1230 MK1, 2, 3 work with ACA500?
